Deliciously Local

I absolutely fell in love with Magpie Cafe after being told by multiple people to go check out it's delightful breakfast and lunch. The quaint little house is located right off Perkins Road, near to the LSU campus. Magpie Cafe serves gourmet and organic foods crafted from seasonal ingredients brought from local farmers, local dairies, and bread artisans. Not to mention the outstanding expresso bar which combines new progressive "slow bar" single cup brewing methods that are very popular in Portland and Seattle. The lovely breakfast selections always include a variety of baked goods along with quiches, oatmeal, and yogurt parfaits topped with Magpie's signature granola. The lunch menu varies daily, however, always includes a soup, salad, veggie or meat panini. Among the outstanding selection of foods, you can also enjoy one of the fresh juiced organic fruit juices they have to offer. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or just a quick cappuccino, Magpie Cafe is the place to be.
